I’m Chris, welcome to our front porch! Let me tell you my story. I’m from Southern California, and my wife is from Alaska. While our backgrounds are worlds apart, we’ve always shared a love for the outdoors.

As our kids got older and our trips to the Alaska wilderness and California beaches together became less frequent, we found ourselves  gathering instead on the front porch whenever we could.  This is where we would  talk through adolescent heartbreaks, navigate the stress of college, and reminisce  about the good old days. It became our place to pause, reconnect, and just be together. To this day, the front porch is what our kids living away talk about missing most about home.

That’s why we do what we do.

As a former firefighter/paramedic, and with my wife’s background in corrections, we understand how short life can be and how valuable time together really is. We also know what a  powerful impact  being outside has on health, resilience, and overall well-being. These patio covers aren’t just structures—they create outdoor living spaces where people come together, recharge, and enjoy life without the stress of maintenance and upkeep.
